What We Stand For

Our Three Pillars form the foundation of our sisterhood.

Spiritual

Our spiritual pillar centers everything we do on Christ through Bible study, prayer, mentorship, worship, outreach, and intentional sisterhood.

Scholastic

To promote higher scholastic standards among the members of the National Fraternity.

We strive for excellence in academic pursuits, encouraging integrity, discipline, curiosity, and stewardship of one’s education.

Our social pillar celebrates friendship and community through service, sisterhood events, retreats, and shared experiences.

We embody our three aims and purposes in our thirteen membership requirements, which all members across the nation uphold.

Use the search bar below to see if there is an Active Chapter at your University!
An Active Chapter is a chartered group of Members at a University currently holding meetings, socials, and other activities.

An Inactive Chapter is a previously chartered Chapter with no Active Members.

You can start a new Chapter or re-charter an Inactive Chapter, both through the same "Start a Chapter" process. The main difference is re-chartering keeps the original Greek letters.
Recruitment typically lasts about a week, with a couple of hours spent each evening with Active Members to explore if Alpha Delta Chi is the right fit.

At the end of recruitment, if you and the Chapter feel confident that you are a good fit, you will receive a bid – a personal invitation to become a Potential New Member (PNM).

Each Chapter's recruitment is unique, so contact your University's Active Chapter for information about theirs!
If your University doesn't have an Active Chapter, see if starting a Chapter is right for you!
Step 1: Build a Solid Foundation

Starting a Chapter requires a great level of commitment and dedication, so the early stages of creating the community with intentionality are crucial.

Bring together a group of 7-10 undergraduates who feel led by Christ to start a Chapter. At least 4 members should NOT be graduating within the next academic term.

As a group, begin meeting weekly for a minimum of two months for fellowship and Bible study.

Step 2: Reach Out to National Board

After meeting for two months, send a letter of intent to the Alpha Delta Chi National Board at info@alphadeltachi.org. Include:

  • Why you feel God is leading you to start an Alpha Delta Chi Chapter.
  • A description of your campus and how Alpha Delta Chi could be a part of it.
  • A brief biography and testimony (about how God has impacted your life) for each potential Member.
Step 3: Board Review & Next Steps

The National Board will review your letter, pray, and provide guidance.
We encourage you to continue to pray and meet for Bible studies, while awaiting updates!

Note: Feel free to reach out to the National Board at any stage for clarification, guidance, or advice!

Whether you are joining an Active Chapter or starting a new one, your first academic term after accepting your bid is your Potential New Member (PNM) term.

This is a "trial membership" allowing both you and the Chapter to get to know each other. It does not guarantee membership, nor does it obligate you to join.

At the end of the PNM term, if you have completed all the requirements and would still like to become a Member, you will become an official Member of Alpha Delta Chi!
