"For we all, with unveiled face, reflecting as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord."
~ 2 Corinthians 3:18

About Us

Alpha Delta Chi (ΑΔΧ) is a national Christian sorority that unites women in a shared desire to live out their faith through sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
Established in 1925 at UCLA, our purpose has remained the same: to be a community that encourages each woman to strengthen her relationship with God and with others.
Across generations and campuses, ADX has provided a home where faith is nurtured, laughter is shared, and lifelong bonds are built.

Our motto — “reflecting, as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18) — reminds us that we are called to reflect Christ’s love in all we do.

Our Pillars

Alpha Delta Chi was founded upon three enduring pillars: Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social. These principles form the foundation of our sisterhood and the heart of our purpose.

Together, these pillars call us to live balanced lives — rooted in faith, pursuing knowledge, and enriched by joyful community.

    1. Personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

    2. Enrollment in a university where a chapter of the National Fraternity has been chartered by the National Board.

    3. Active participation in Christian service.

    4. Regular attendance or membership in an evangelical church or other church approved by the National Board.

    5. Interest in leading others to Christ.

    6. Willingness to avoid situations which would cause one's Sister or brother to stumble.

    7. Willingness to abstain from sexual relations until marriage.

    8. Willingness to abstain from smoking and illegal use of drugs.

    9. Willingness to abstain from alcohol in circumstances where the Christian witness would be adversely affected.

    10. A scholarship rating of at least a "C" or its equivalent maintained in all university work.

    11. Passage of annual examinations on the National Constitution, II Corinthians 3, and the Active chapter's bylaws.

    12. Procurement of a membership pin.

    13. Payment upon graduation or leaving the university, of an amount specified by the chapter to the chapter scholarship and housing fund(s).
